This would have to be one of my favorite scenes from the movie, how she helps Evangeline get ready for her wedding and uses the snow to completely transform her dress, and Emma Thompson is one of my favorite actresses! I love this movie x3 hope you like it

I do not own the movie, it rightfully belongs to Universal Studios

  • If you'd like more info on Nanny Mphee, let me know I may make a video on it. Some are confused on why it was made, it's based off books titled "Nurse Matilda"
  • "There is something you should understand about the way I work. When you need me, but do not want me, then I must stay. When you want me, but no longer need me, then I have to go."

Elsa has nothing on Nanny McPhee's snow dress making skills
  • Love how she faints at “scullery maid” and not “incest” 💀☠️
  • I love the fact this woman did magic in broad daylight in front of a catholic preist….and no one died what a wonderful world
  • To this day I am convinced that Nanny McPhee was there at the behest of the children’s mother, who was looking out for her family even in death. Twice in the movie Nanny McPhee bows her head in respect to the mother’s chair, the second time right before she leaves at the end. Nanny McPhee did what she set out to do and when she leaves she only bids farewell to the former lady of the house.

I will forever love the scene where Evangeline shows up for the wedding all dolled up by the aunt, and the children are all amazed at how proper and beautiful she is and their father's just like "She's always looked like that" 🥰🥰
  • I´m a big man and i always tear up in that scene, especially when the baby gets a new rattle and Nanny McPhee bows before the mothers chair. That means she always was with them even after life.
  • Omg I just realized this😱: Evangeline = The grey lady of Ravenclaw The cook = Umbridge Nany Mcphee = Professor Trelawny
  • I love how, if you read between the lines, the spirit of the children’s mother picks Evangeline to be their new mother, and guides Nanny McPhee to them, so this will happen. His first wife was obviously very kind and compassionate. I think she chose Evangeline because she knew that she would love the children, and her husband, as much as she did.

Nanny McPhee bowing and showing her respect to the mom/ her pink chair is what gets me sobbing.
  • Her dress transformation is the best thing in this scenes
  • I love how in the beginning of this movie Nanny McPhee is supposed to be odd looking, but in the end she is beautiful! I always loved this last scene
  • I love how Nanny McPhee walked Evangeline down the aisle like a parent would.
  • "When you need me but do not want me then I must stay When you want me but no longer need me then I have to go" Nanny McPhee was the love and guidance I really needed as a teenager, given what I went through 😭🥺
  • Cook crying as Evangeline grabs Cedric's hand is adorable, and I love how Nanny McPhee smiles before giving Aggie back her rattle.

This movie was such a huge part of my childhood. It reminds me of a time when I was completely carefree and happier. I’m 23 now and life feels so different (not in a good way). Sigh
