me with 100 hours in violet: Oh yeah, this videos for me

Titan Klawf should always be your first target in this game. Just the ability to sprint alone is massive. One of the biggest time savers in the game.
  • Just getting this out there here too: Regarding the Auto-Battles, if your Pokemon refuses to go after a specific wild Pokemon, it's most likely a shiny. So no, you won't lose those because of the system.
  • @MarioFan2127
While on the map, you can click on the control stick to set the map to always be set to the north.
  • @Baehry
Another thing the game doesn't tell you: The upgrades to Koraidon / Miraidon are actually based on which titan you defeated, rather than how many titans you defeated.
  • @itsLantik
Fun fact: Herba Mystica can be shortened to HM. Boom, mind blown.
  • Agree that level scaling need to happen, especially with the gym leaders. The bug gym was my 7th gym and had a team of level 40 against her level 10 pokemon.
  • @TheDragonaf1
100% respect to him giving no spoilers and putting censorship
  • I think it's fun to have one team where you beat all the titans. Then start again with a new team of lower level pokemon and go through gym and star challenges. That way you can challenge yourself, try new pokemon, and fully explore in a fun way
  • Wolfe sleeping on how fast Fuecoco’s signature move can snowball out of control
  • I was just playing through and thought that I should mention something: You should do the academy classes and talk to the teachers as you collect your gym badges! The classes actually tell you useful information about the game like where to change your pokemons Teratype and if you talk to the teachers enough they will give you 50 Terashards of the type that they like! Hassel gives you 50 Dragon Terashards. It substantially cuts down on grinding for those

Honestly, with no level scaling, I think you can run 3 different teams for the 3 story lines and have fun with it
  • I think if you want to avoid the problem of facing important battles too early or late, the best thing is to look at the description of the battle on the map. It indicates whether the fight is a first stop for trainers or the strongest opponent

11th tip, but having more than one team is really helpful for keeping the game fun. If you come across a stronger gym, you can use your strongest team. If you find a weaker gym, switch to a weaker team. This is really easy to do because this game just has so many pokemon to make multiple viable teams, and using different pokemon added fun to my game

You can definitely lower the stats of the starmobiles. The last fighting type team star battle was giving me trouble so I used feather dance on the starmobile 3 times to lower its attack until it was only tickling me. (Feather Dance harshly lowers opponents attack).
  • ALSO You all should know that on any surface your Ride Pokémon slides on, instead jump on it backwards. For some reason you’ll be able to climb walls you really shouldn’t
  • 6:08 good thing I checked this, you actually can lower its stats bc they have a move in the back to boost it back up, just can’t do stuff like toxic, Leech seed, and some others. Yesterday, I helped my friend through the Team Star fighting boss with use of feather dance and despite them being underleveled, this one change helped him get the W. Prior to learning this, he get deleted once Revavroom came out.
  • For anyone that wants it. Order of story: Bug - Lv. 15 Rock - Lv. 16 Grass - Lv. 18 Flying - Lv. 19 Dark - Lv. 21 Electric - Lv. 23 Fire - Lv. 27 Steel - Lv. 28 Water - Lv. 30 Poison - Lv. 32 Normal - Lv. 36 Ghost - Lv. 42 Ground - Lv. 44 Psychic - Lv. 45 Ice - Lv. 48 Fairy - Lv. 51 Dragon - Lv. 55 Fighting - Lv. 56
  • Herba Mystica HM Not only are you getting this plant to save your friend's dying dog, but you beat big Pokémon to learn HMs. GameFreak you MADLADS.

Another thing to mention is that the final pokemon for every team star boss has infinite PP on its moves. I was struggling with one and my only win condition at that point was PP stalling the steel move. It never ran out.
