I only did science fair in elementary school and I HATED it. It was so stupid and unnecessarily stressful. It literally made me cry.

I had science fairs back when I was in 2nd and 3rd grade (I was living in New York, NOT THE CITY, but in the state) and they were completely optional and we only presented them in the cafeteria. I loved doing them, and one of my projects was about Tyrannosaurus Rex. If I could do another science fair again (I'm in a different state now unfortunately), I would do another paleontology presentation, but do something on one of my favorite lesser known prehistoric animals like Deinonychus or Eurypterus. If you cannot tell, I'm a science nerd, I speak science

In 8th grade my school did a science fair. My friend had his mom do his entire project. The local newspaper thought it was great so they had an article about it in the paper. My friend bragged about it for weeks. We aren't friends anymore.
  • In my school (Arg, by the way, so our traditions are different) we did science fairs every year until secondary school. I strongly remember one (I was an older teen, by the way) where I was assigned to take care of a colony of Bombyx mori, and while my mom hated them, I just loved to caress their backs (they use a silk thread to make their cacoons, so their bodies have the texture of silk). During the fair we had all the hatched cacoons on display (the cacoons turn yellow when exposed to oxigen) and middle scoolers thought they were cheese puffs. Those were fun times.

My school didn’t do the science fair but we had to do a wax museum. We had to choose a random historical person to research, make a notecard and remember it for presentations(with only important information), make posters, and then on the day of presenting we have to stand still until someone came up to us and we would present our information. We also had to dress up like the person we were researching about.

for my 3rd grade science fair i put hard boiled eggs in the three different liquids. Fruit Punch Gatorade, white vinegar, and coffee. the experiment was kinda like what would happen if you put your teeth in those liquids (since egg shells are supposed to resemble your teeth) and how they would stain. the gatorade made the egg pink, coffee a light brown, and white vinegar made all of the egg shell nutrients vaporize and made the shell like puddy. i ended up in third place btw. my dad helped me.

science fair ideas: probiotics vs antibiotics? how does the size of weals on a small toy car affect it's speed? if you launch a die at the same angle with the same force and starting on the same side each time, will it example: every time you launch on 5, 3 comes up? this one's my favorate that I would have done: do sounds sound louder if you play multiple at once, or if it lasts for longer, or if it's a a different pitch, or if it changes instead of staying one monotone sound? You'd have to pick just one of those variables though

hey guys do you think James deserves more subs? Yeah Yup Absolutely mmm hm
  • I did a science project on underwater fireworks, I was popular for a long time
  • Science fair hack that I did. My topic every year was which popcorn brand was the most reliable. As in which brand after 1 minute, minute and 30 seconds, and two minutes left the least kernels. I wanna say every time pop secret was the best for me. I tried using the exact same project so I didn’t have to do it again, but the school would keep the projects. So I would do the popcorn experiment again. Worked every time and I always made a B or an A on it and one time I actually made it into the top 6 projects one year with 138 students in the class.

yo i just gotta say thanks so much for this vid because for the past 2 years we had to do the science fair and my teachers sucked ass at explaining it but when i saw this video you explained it so well on how to put certain things together and how to format it
