This market is one of the largest markets in Central America and people come from all over Guatemala to visit. If you like local markets the Chichicastenango market (also called the Chichi market) is a MUST SEE when in Guatemala. This market is a true immersion in local Guatemalan culture. Prepare to spend a few hours browsing through all the vendors stalls and admiring the beautiful textiles, crafts and local foods.

We are car camping/overlanding in our ROOF TOP TENT through Central America. We drove all the way from Canada to Nicaragua with our 2 bulldogs Tigger & Penelope to our new home in San Juan del Sur Nicaragua. We loved it so much that we are back on the road!!!
