I don't necessarily think it's harder to scratch with Serato control vinyl. However there is some latency when scratching and if you scratch on "Relative Mode" it's almost like cheating because the record will never skip. I always use Serato when I dj at clubs,so doing this freestyle was a breath of fresh of air.Peace,and thanks for the comment!
