found myself at the airport on a beautiful weekday afternoon. perfect time of the year to start landing on grass fields. I went to all the public fields in the area. winds were a little weird but they were all doable. not my best radio day. a couple of mediocre moments.

  • For real, I’m really thinking I need a lesson from you. The ‘between trees’ base to final. The small strips in that neighborhood environment. The rejected landing. Dealing with the nordo guy. And on top of that it looks super bumpy! WELL DONE. 👊👊🥚

    Wow...some of those approaches looked really challenging! Looked like you and the Flight Design handled them well, though. Would you say, that in general, the Flight Design's landing gear handles those types of grass strips adequately? I'm considering a CTLS.
