Storm surge has inundated roads and winds have some some damage in Sargent Beach. Power lines are down and the winds and storm surge continue.

I don’t understand Texas. In North Carolina, if you are beachfront, or close to the ocean, you have your windows boarded up. Further inland, out of the surge area, you board up what you can, and tape up what you can’t. Edit: Is that Timmer in the Ford pickup?
