I will never stop being grateful for being born in the generation that was able to see and listen to the greatest band 🤟🤙🎸❤️

Been playing guitar for 15 years.... that type of playing in this song is a guitarist literally talking on the deeper side.... How he feels.... the solo is a total expression of breaking free.... Killer guitar work.

For years I had wondered where that opening solo had come from and how they made his guitar sound so badass. I literally just found out. That solo is Gilmour playing inside Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena. His subsequent tracks were then mixed through the PA system and recorded in surround sound. What an incredible feat of sound engineering.

This is without a doubt one of Pink Floyd's best, from any album, and SO underrated. F**king amazing song.

No one ever has or ever will play a guitar like that man.
  • This song got me through the death of my dad when i was 17. And the rest of their music got me through everything else.

This song got me through Desert Storm, onboard the U.S.S. Missouri.

Gilmore is my favorite guitarist, not the fastest, but one of the best.

One of the few songs that puts chill bumps on your skin. The guitar intro is chilling.

This album is 32 yrs old yet never gets old I’m 33 I’ve pretty much heard Pink Floyd my whole life it’s 2019 and they’re still one of the best bands ever
  • There's not an album I don't like from them. I love em all. We will never see a band like this in our lifetime so I'm taking what I can get

I lived in poverty and lost my mind, i got hooked on drugs, my bodys fucked up with scars all over. Now im 30 and i just got free of all these things. I took a kind of pascals wager life would one day be good to me, and just God damn it struggled on with classic rock as my panacea. The Floyd was always there to carry me, and it always will be
  • Pink flyod has been a part of my life since 1992. They have been part of my relationships part of my break ups part of my personal losses. Love this group ❤
