Oh I remember that with my Grizzly too. What I did was put my legs up against the frame and just straight ignorant pulled on it.

I put the vice grips on the axle and hit that with a big hammer

Jeez it ain’t that hard to pull axles if the inner is still intact. Push in with the shaft. And at the same time pull on the cup at the diff. Boom it comes out every time. When you do that. It releases the clip inside the diff
