I think a lot of us can relate to Spinel more than any other character in way. A good portion of us has kinda lived through this.. Itās nice to see it represented in a show and addressed for once. We all hate being that one person that gets trampled over and forgotten, used and abandoned. Itās even worse when you still canāt stop caring for those people despite all of this..

0:55 I love how she gets genuinely mad and upset when Steven tries to leave her. She's experienced someone important to her, leaving her side forever, and she's afraid that will happen again. Amazing.

And then Stephen "fixed" it by just giving Spinel to the Diamonds so she and the Diamonds couldn't bother him anymore. Stephen really became just like his mom in this movie and I'm glad the SU:F show addressed it.

Spinel is me in elementary school with untreated ADHD desperately trying to make friends. The reactions were the same.

spinel totally captures what itās like being the comic relief friend whose purpose is only to make other people feel better and then ending up alone and ignored when youāre suffering the most because nobody wants you around unless youāre serving your purpose edit: jesus christ are yāall okay

She definitely reminds me of the "that kid" cliche. Overly hyper and annoying, knowing no boundaries, but is actually a wonderful person that might not know how to socialize like others. Anyway, 15/10 would adopt and be best friends, just need proper communication and boundaries.
