Turns out it's also a Roblox pyramid scheme...

Roblox scammers have a special place in my heart. They are somehow really successful at scamming Roblox kids while also being the most low IQ individuals I have ever seen on Discord. And this time, it's no different.

Because these fake Roblox Middleman scammers follow the textbook scammer playbook: scam people, call other people poor, make less than minimum wage if you factor in the hours, and finally flex their wealth.

But there's a hidden trick up their sleeve, an ultra-rare tactic, a technique that matches exodia, it's a pyramid scheme as well. If you aren't scamming scammers, are you really the best scammer?

NTTS and the "Join servers for you" permission. Name a more iconic duo. Knew as soon as the member count on the scam servers was shown.
  • @Galifax2
the day discord removes the "joins servers fo you" bot functionality might be the best day ever

"Well it's not technically gambling because they're using our special in-game currency instead of actual money" - Roblox

Who is going to bet most of them "sellers/traders" arent above the required age when making a Discord account?

This is also not how a middleman service is supposed to work. The seller sends the item to the middleman AND the buyer sends their item to the middleman.

You have no idea how lovely it is seeing some of these scammer's drop their roblox names, and seeing them having save data in games I work on.. lol

After 20 minutes of this video, FBI saw the video and invited NoTextToSpeech for an online investigator position

NTTS, as an ex-member of the roblox dark market, i greatly appreciate this video. Ive seen tons of people get scammed this way. I would’ve thought these scammers would not be dumb enough to name their channels so obvious. I also love how you tie previous scams, like the join servers for you scam, into this scam. From the surface level, i would have never known about these in depth little methods. I only knew how MMs are often scammers.  Speaking of scammers…. There used to be an older cross trading server where the owner and mm owned an entire company cross trading. They started off legit, then they started scamming the people who actually paid them and trusted them. Eventually their server and company fell off.

That's one reason I love KSF Scammer Files. It's a discord server with a database of reported scammers and scam servers that can be viewed by basically any member. You can lookup a user id or a server invite, and if the result includes prior reports, the proof is provided with the response. It's awesome, and scammers can't get around it by changing their (or the server) name, as it's linked to the user or server ID itself.

I'm wondering how a game for kids, who are usually the main targets of scams, are being done on an app for at least teens

As someone who used to be very active in the Project SEKAI community for account trading and has helped out as a middleman for friends, middlemen CAN be legit in certain communities. The gacha game trading community (Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Wuthering Waves, Project SEKAI, Bandori, D4DJ, IdentityV, ect.) is very tight knit to the point there are whole servers dedicated to reporting scammers and fake middle men. Especially when it comes to trading whales, large value account can be worth up to 200+ USD. I knew of Roblox trading for a while but it's always been kind of a joke in the SEKAI community for being illegitimate, to the point where SEKAI players who wanted to trade stuff on Roblox would just ask the gacha community middle men to do it, and they usually would. I knew the Roblox trading community was bad but not this bad oml
