I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn using oil paints. It has great exercises that shows you different techniques and how to mix paints to achieve the colour you want.

I love that you showed your "homework" from this book. I really wish more people did this when they reviewed art books. It made me see the true contents of the authors writing and get a feel if it is right book for me.

You said you’re painting in the basement, is it ventilated? Or do you keep the windows open? I would like to paint but worried about the paint being toxic if I can’t air the room out. Do you think that’s a concern or am I missing something and there are non-toxic paints too? 🤔
