THIS CHANNEL:
_________________________________________________________
The Angel face you see is the Haserot, named ā€œThe Angel of Death Victorious". The stoic angel is seated on the marble gravestone of canning entrepreneur Francis Haserot and his family. Holding an extinguished torch upside-down, it represents a symbol of life extinguished. Wings are outstretched and the gaze is straight ahead.
IN THE END, DEATH ALWAYS WINS. LEST THE FACES NOT BE FORGOTTEN...

This channel is focused on casually walking and viewing a handful of the thousands of forgotten names and faces at various cemeteries near and afar. Seeing their faces up close. And when able, telling the stories behind their names.

Most graves are unknown and lost to history.
Some are famous.
And some infamous....
....and some with tragic endings.

Wow! Now I know about Cullen Baker, a horrible weasel of a man. The pacing of your narratives along with the superb camerawork are incomparable. And I hung on every word. An amazing presentation and a story I didnā€™t know! Thank you once again!
  • As the old English judges used to say, "and may God have mercy on your soul". He certainly showed no mercy in life. Yikes! What a lovely cemetary...so we'll maintained. Enjoyed this episode.ā¤

The only good thing Cullen did in his life was to let his in-laws raise his daughter, what sort of life would Louisa had if she followed her unpredictable, moody father?

  • I like the wrought iron fencing. Reminds me of the victorian era.. Landscape is pretty dry there. Beautiful old statues. Thanks for taking us with you Ron.

You're right, he was mad at the world and made never to overlook a wrong. He really wants a scoundrel. Great video.
  • Hi Ron from Bendigo Australia love watching your channel. šŸ˜Š
  • Hey Mr. Ron! Can't tell you how happy I am that you're back ā¤ Great story!
  • The subject of Louis l'amour's book "the first fast draw". He was a violent character.
  • Thanks Ron for another interesting (albeit gruesome) story and video. You are the best story teller! I really enjoy listening to you. And yes, that guy was certainly one of the worst of his time based on all the details of his life which you shared with us. I'm thrilled that you're back making videos for the channel again as I really love your content and theme. Special thanks for the bonus footing of the train going by at the end of the video! I love watching and hearing trains, so I'm glad you stuck around to show us the approaching train you mentioned hearing earlier in the video. Cool way to bring the video to an end. Stay safe as you are traveling around and thanks again for sharing these stories with us!

  • Greetings from Connecticut. We have graves that go back to the 1640s. Some of them can still be read.
  • Welcome back RonšŸ˜…. The story that you told in the past that really touched my heart was about the little boy who lost his parents and was taken in by a couple. He was taken out to the barn and was beaten by his adopted father over his entire body. He said to the man, Pa I'm so cold and he died. I think of him often. Do you recall his name?
  • You were in my neck of the woods on this one. I have never heard this story or this cemetary. So interesting.
  • Another good story,Ron. Love the train at the endšŸ˜Š. Take care.

  • Clava Cairns or the Prehistoric Burial Cairns of Bulnuaran of Clava are a group of three Bronze Age cairns located near Inverness. A hugely significant and exceptionally well preserved prehistoric site, Clava Cairns is a fantastic example of the distant history of Highland Scotland, dating back about 4,000 years.
