Pools is similar to an art gallery where you look around and listen to the sounds. There's no UI, no dialogue, and no music. There are very few things to solve, practically a few mazes. Sometimes the game will challenge your navigation skills. But mostly you're just... there.

The real horror is the fact that we have to walk around in wet shoes and socks for the entirety of the game.
-
This is the type of game that has you on the edge of your seat the whole time thinking there’s going to be a jump scare every corner, but there never will be one.
-
Graphics are getting pretty crazy these days. It still doesn't feel real, but more like a surreal dream than a video game.
-
Man if only smell-o-vision caught on so that we can smell the ridiculous amount of chlorine that these pools have!
-
So... a game about exploring the watery sections of the Backrooms. No monsters. Only the constant suffocating fear that you might not be alone. Or the much more frightening possibility that you really are, and that escape is unlikely.
-
This definitely needs to be in VR.
-
Is my character gonna yell "Weeeeeeee"", when they go down the waterslide?🤔
-
Thanks for featuring us IGN!
-
Now the real question, can you pee in the pool?
-
>game about pools >main character can't swim
-
It seems one developer enjoyed a particular level of the backrooms and wasn't ready to leave
-
Stanley decided to go for a swim. All of the other swimmers were gone. What could it mean?
-
This is like one of my strange dreams, before games like this started coming out.
