Unloaded storage, proof of concept. (Minecraft 1.12)

Chests and droppers and oh boy, unlocked hoppers, cause a lot of lag while loaded, which plagues many large farms and storage systems with high TPS.

So why load them?

This video shows an example of a super simplistic storage system holding empty shulker boxes (which is fairly common in farms, as people like to use shulker fillers to hold the farms items). There are many many improvements that could be made for this: instant line within loaded chunks to reduce latency, moving the storage a chunk or ten farther into unloaded area to ensure it isn't loaded by players running around the farm, expanding the local storage a bit (say 1 chest), and triple or quadruple triggering the droppers to ensure you always get your items. Perhaps you could use an autosave detector to ensure you always access when you can succeed.

The biggest issue is permaloaders are incompatible with this concept, but they can reasonably be turned off for large fast farms, like the one this was made for. Permaloaders are impossible past this version, but this could easily be updated to 1.13 (there should b nothing that changes), and with a little bit of effort to 1.14-1.16(+? I'm not a time traveler) (using a portal loader).

I don't see why people optimizing for low lag storage systems don't ever do something like this. Maybe they do and I just haven't seen it.

Anyways, I got a new sub yesterday, so I decided I should upload something. Thanks! I don't know if I will ever get into Youtube, I mostly just use it as a hosting site for vids I want to show to someone in particular.
