This video introduces the process of crafting a flower vase using cloisonne technique.
▶What is Cloisonne?
Cloisonne enamel ware is a decorative craft in which silver wire is set on a metal base and a glassy glaze is attached to the silver wire. There are two types of cloisonne enamel techniques: “wired cloisonne,” which uses the silver wire as the outline of the design, and “wireless cloisonne,” in which the silver wire is removed at the timing of applying glaze or not used from the beginning in order to create a fuzzy impression. Both of these techniques, which can only be seen with cloisonne enamel ware, fascinate people who see them.

This cloisonne vase is decorated with white plum blossoms on a yellow-green base.
The base color is a bright and fresh green, reminiscent of fresh greenery, and the work is both lovely and elegantly gorgeous. Although it is a small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, it is difficult to mass-produce, and each piece is made slowly, taking about one to two months to make. A beautiful vessel. My grandmother left me a large collection of cloisonné pieces. It’s interesting because they all have a certain aesthetic beauty but some are sublimely elevated. This little vase is a fine example of something being deceptively simple…of it being plain yet elegant. It’s timeless. I wish I had the money to purchase one for my collection. As of now I cannot divert funds to this BUT I will be sharing the site with others who may have funds :) I’d love to see and touch this in real life. I thank you, and genuinely appreciate the dedication shown, such a beautiful work and to do it without shortcuts is admirable. 🙏🏻
