Certified diver here, you’re absolutely right. The ocean is an underwater jungle. Anything can happen.

I quit coastal Kayaking after getting bumped and harassed by a 15' Great White off the coast of Massachusetts.

You're in the shark's environment in the ocean. If you want to be in your environment, swim in a pool.

All those bites were from the same shark which escaped to open waters…….WHO WRITES THIS 💩💩💩he escaped, I think for him he was just cruising his own neighborhood, he didn’t need to escape from anything or anyone 🙋🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️😖🦈

One reason why I don’t get in the water. The view is good enough for me.

How did the shark "escape back to open water?" Don't they live in the Gulf?
  • @jonathanallen9869
I wonder if sharks say to each other “don’t go up there, that’s people infested land

Ok people. There are now more sharks in the water. Stay out. Would you go to Louisiana and be shocked if an alligator got you?
  • @Willams78
The temperatures of the waters is changing also. That could also play a part in the sharks coming closer to shore

There was a guy interviewed not long ago who said a few years back there was reports in the media like once a week on shark attacks. He thought to himself "Why are these attacks happening more and more often??" Then he did his research. He concluded that there weren't more shark attacks happening than usual, but that the media started reporting them more often!

I'm almost 72 and glad I had the chance to enjoy being in the ocean back in the 60's & 70's, after that the movie "Jaws" came out and mostly everyone was too terrified to go back in again, including me.😮

Most shark attacks happen in about 3 ft of water.

Attacked in the ocean, not in Texas. The shark wasn’t just strolling down the sidewalk in Houston.
