This is the first time I’ve actually been addicted to a game since I was a kid. I think about it all day while I’m at work. I dream about this game. I can play it for hours and feel as if it’s only been mere minutes. I feel like I’m 8 years old again and I love it.

The opening segment of the game when you're going through the caves underneath Hyrule Castle had me hooked! It was so immersive with the sound effects and music 😍
  • I really like that Link hums old Zelda songs while he cooks. Such an awesome little detail! The first time I heard it, I squealed 😆
  • @Lexyvil
Being with Zelda in a Zelda game is always a surreal experience.
  • This is legit the best personal experience I’ve had with a new game- so immersive, crisp visuals, imaginative, love the characters, so much to explore! So fun!

Man that opening was super intense. This games ost is actually unreal. Like its so incredibly well made. The disturbing vocals being reversed with the piano during the creepy parts really take it to a new level. And the rest of the ost is amazing ofc. The story is super mysterious and interesting so far (i am also 10 hours in)

Me and the boyfriend were playing the opening today. My 2 year old was really into what was going on on the screen and the Gannon scene made her jump alittle lol. I even tried to break her attention from the cutscene cuz I knew it was gonna be creepy. A future Zelda mega fan in the making for sure haha
  • BOTW is my favorite game of all time. I’m roughly 10 hours into TOTK and it’s already such an adventure. I love this franchise!
  • My favorite thing so far is that the horses I caught in BotW carried over to the TotK save, I was really surprised when I noticed

The underground area gives you the feeling off the old school Zelda horror areas. The lighting effect in pure darkness is so cool as well.
  • It brought me so much joy being in the stream and enjoying TOTK with you guys.

I'm about 15 hours in and feel like I've completed maybe 2% of it. It is INSANE.

this game has me unbelievably hooked
  • This is how you know it’s a GOAT game. I said “I have a big day tomorrow, I’ll play for 30 minutes and go to bed”….. then 3 HOURS passed and I had no clue and literally thought I was within my 30 minutes. This game is huge and amazing and I’m so there for it!
  • So unbelievably stoked that I decided to hang out in the stream with you guys~! I had so much fun just experiencing the game with you that I just passed out at my desk lol

I think Fuse is the perfect counter to the durability imo I never hated the durability, i thought it was a bit to short lived for most weapons but now I cant wait for weapons to break so I can fuse new silly things
  • Any game that can sidetrack you 5 times before even reaching a destination is a masterpiece. To get the player to delay their mission in such a massive game is a feat not many other games can tote
  • Games like this make me fall back in love with Nintendo and the switch sure the hardware is showing it’s age but they’ve done such a great job making the game look beautiful with the art style. It’s going to win game of the year.

It kinda has a Link Between Worlds vibe to it. In that, it uses the player’s past knowledge of the map to reward you for going to these little spots in the world. And it’s crazy just how much is in this game. Genuinely everywhere I went, I found new materials, new enemies, and new locations. It’s scary just how large it is. I also love that they pretty much addressed every single complaint with BOTW. WAAAAY more enemy variety, QOL features and missed opportunities from BOTW fixed and addressed. Minor spoilers further below. My jaw literally dropped when I found out you could craft things to negate sliding while climbing in the rain. Little things like that make everything so much cooler. The first place I went was to the Great Plateau, and Link’s House, and was pleasantly surprised to find my investment in these key locations from the last game rewarded with engaging things to do and find. Nintendo really captured lightning in a bottle a second time, and I’m awestruck.
