Use this track when working on advanced and complicated topics like coding/programming, mathematics, scientific formulas, financial analysis or any complex mental activity.

Isochronic tones produce a stronger brainwave entrainment effect when compared to binaural beats or traditional music.

What is this?

This is a high-intensity audio brainwave entrainment session, using isochronic tones. Listen to this when you need a strong burst of intense focus to concentrate and study things like advanced mathematics, scientific formulas, financial analysis or any other complex mental activity.

How is this session constructed?

The session starts off beating at 10Hz and ramps up to the 18Hz range by the 6-minute mark. The isochronic tones frequency then randomly fluctuates between 17.5-18.5Hz to help prevent habituation. This stops you from getting too used to the same frequency when using the track regularly over time. Once the track gets to the final 5 minutes it ramps back down to 10Hz again. You can see an image showing how the session is constructed at the beginning of the video.

How to use it?

Listen to this track with your eyes open while doing the task/activity you want to focus on.

Headphones are NOT required

Although headphones are not required you may find they produce a more intense effect, because they help to block out distracting external sounds.

When to listen?

Because this track increases your beta brainwave activity, it's best to listen to this during the daytime and early evening. If you listen to this too close to bedtime, it might disrupt your sleep, in a similar way to how you might respond if you drank coffee just before going to bed.

How loud should the volume be?

The main thing to consider is that it should be loud enough to hear the repetitive isochronic tones, so you don't want it so quiet you can hardly hear them. But you also don't want it so loud that it's uncomfortable for you and hurts your ears, or gives you a headache. I'd recommend starting with the volume around halfway and adjusting it to a level that you feel comfortable with from there.

You have NO IDEA how long I've been looking for music like this! I've tried everything! Chillhop wasn't working for me. It was good ambience, but the vibe made me slow down, and often the tempo would throw me out of wack. Jazz wasn't doing it because it was much too mellow for my mind to focus to. Liquid Drum & Bass was okay, but the singing was too distracting, and the tempo was sometimes too quick. Somehow, these tracklists are the PERFECT in-between. I've blasted through so much work tonight that I would have otherwise struggled with! Thank you so much, Jason! From the bottom of my heart! You are immediately my favourite YouTube channel on my dedicated "Work Companion" account. No idea how I found you, but I'm so glad I did. God bless you, man! You're making the world a better place. This is the better side of YouTube. Free from the distraction.

I have ADHD, and I literally get twice as much done with this mix playing in the background! My new favorite!
  • Jason, How did you know I needed this today? We must be on the same frequency! Thanks!!!

Jason's "animals" mixes are part of my regular work habit; I just the pick the critter that tickles me that day and proceed to Get Things Done. This one stuck me as too repetitive though. I kept thinking, "Did I accidentally skip backwards? I've heard this bit already right?" It's still great work, I still got a ton done, and I'm still grateful to Jason for putting it together. I'm just not gonna be clicking the shark again. Thankfully there's a huge pile of others that keep me happy and productive!

Anyone else replaying some sections before moving on to the next? I wish there were timestamps for that. Thank you Jason!

Long-time listener, first-time commenter here. The Bulldog mix was my gateway drug, and the Dark Trap mix has kept my ADHD butt in a job so far this year. When 2:43 hit and I started chair dancing in the corner of the coffee shop, I knew I'd found a new favorite. My clients are about to get the best damn deliverables today. Thanks, Jason! :trophy-yellow-smiling:
