Spencer Rattler has been hyped for a long time. From high school, to Oklahoma, to South Carolina. Rattler is a fun prospect with a lot of upside, but can a team mold him into more then a project piece?

Rattler throwing the ball 50 yards down field while backpedaling and not underthrowing his receiver is pretty impressive
  • @Tankdawg94
Spencer Rattler is the biggest sleeper in the draft
  • @antwanr5058
Rattler faced pressure on 38% of drop backs and his O-line saw 10 different starting combinations. He’s already faced adversity and he’s still a gamer. He’s my QB5

Hell yes I’ve been waiting for this one! I have a feeling my Raiders will be drafting him next month 🫨

Perfect project is the best description of him. We’ve seen he has talent he’s had years to mature. The question is can he do it in the NFL. I think he has a good chance

Rattler credited his OC Dowell Loggains as being the #1 influence on helping him prepare for the NFL. Loggains is a disciple of Sean Payton from his days working with him on Bill Parcells staff in Dallas. He's also worked on 5 other NFL staffs. In other words...Rattler has been running much of Payton's playbook for the last year at SC, & has likely gotten a ton of familiarity with NFL concepts from elsewhere as well. Contrast this with the spread offenses that Bo Nix & Michael Penix Jr. have been running while surrounded by elite players & protected behind the best offensive lines in the college game. If I were betting on which of the three becomes a legit NFL starter, I'd bet on Rattler.
  • Spencer Rattler is going to be a awesome quarterback for the Saints 🖤⚜️ Who DAT 💥 Let's go Saints 😁🏆
  • @shiftyidog-
That’s the perfect guy for Daboll to coach up✌️
  • I can’t help but feel like if he can just get good NFL processing on even just a decent team with a decent play caller he can actually be a goood QB in the NFL
  • His defense was also bottom 3 in the sec, they had the longest streak of 20+ points allowed in cfb at one point this season
  • @ariejohnson1944
He seems like the ideal later round flyer high ceiling but falls due to low floor, i agree the jets and falcons would be good fits but some more good fits are the steelers, dolphins, raiders and depending on if they draft a qb before that maybe even the broncos.

I would love it if The Vikings are actually high on Rattler, and they select him. I like Rattler more than JJ Mccarthy personally.
  • @JordTheeNord
Would love my Pats to grab him. I think we have way to many problems on offense to fix right now to invest heavily into qb especially with MHJ is just staring us in the face. Jacoby Brissett is very underrated and could see him being our Alex Smith.

His horrible offensive line is why I think he’s one of the most nfl ready of this class. He’s not going to panic over the speed difference, he’ll have better receivers, and has the arm to make the throws. His eyes are always downfield, and he never throws off his back foot.
  • @tyreselovell
I remember seeing mock drafts having him going number one a few years ago
  • @scottfisher352
Man I think this guy has a chance to be one of the serious sleeper pick of the draft. Probably go in 2nd round.
  • @Bl00dwerK
Spencer Legette is a sure-fire pick.
