The Queen is so quick to forgive Lady Whistledown (Gossip Girl) because Lady Danbury (the one that enunciates a lot) spend the whole season planting seeds that there's not point in defeating and destroying Lady Whistledown and that continuing "the game" is much more entertaining for her and everyone.

20:14 I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who thought that both John and Francesca might be ace at first. They seemed very comfortable around each other but I felt it was more in a platonic soulmate kinda way, not in a romantic way.
