They're stretching because they were sleeping until you just came in

My cat must really love me, he always is stretching out. He uses his claws to pull himself across the carpet. He was a homeless cat and just walked into the house one day and never left.

I always get the impression my cats are saying "look at my magnificence" when they do the big stretch every time they see me 😊

My cat stretches when I approach him when he is relaxing. He also yawns, every single time.

I have my indoor cat, but I also have two feral cats that live in our garage. We keep it cracked open, they have food, water, and beds in there. I have named them and they know their names, they are now very friendly. Buddy greets me with a double stretch every time he sees me, I love those cats.

Owner, seriously? It's more like a combination of legal guardian and servant/slave. It's important to know your rank. Just surrender and enjoy the experience of sharing your life with a cat. A friend of mine is a psychologist working with research, when his girlfriend moved in she brought her two cats. My friend said to me that he wouldn't give in to them. When I visited them two weeks later he sat on a chair by the kitchen table feeding the cats, on the table, expensive ham and talking to them as to small children. 😂
