Spin-offs that DESERVE to be mainline Final Fantasy games

It's Final Fantasy Adventure for me, dawg. The first ever FF spinoff, released at a time when the mainline games were much more narrowly defined.

I think there's an issue with your mic audio. It sounds off, especially when playing the video on speakers 😅 It's always nice to hear about the lesser known FF games~

Strangers of Paradise was my GOTY, Remember when it came out then saw the Platinum Trophy appear and realised I spent 50+ hours, incredible game and the DLC is great with new mechanics in each one which ups the difficulty loads meaning you have to learn the game even more in depth

SoP was my favorite game of 2022. Not gonna lie this is a weird list lol. Some stuff like Spirits Within is a hard disagree for me but you're also kinda based for having so uncommon takes. Cheers.

Type 0. My personal take on why it wasn't numbered is that it SPECIFICALLY encouraged grinding. Not that that detracted it's appeal. I personally loved the hell out of the game, it's bittersweet story and very sad ending. That ending song...not ashamed to say I had some tears in my eyes. Oh and fuck Machina. Mystic Quest...we'll have to agree to disagree. It's literally baby's first rpg. The only good thing I could say about it is that the music was pretty damn good. Crystal Chronicles and Stranger I'm kinda meh on since they're the two FFs I haven't beaten, while actually having played them. I just lost interest.

Spirits within was so damn boring though and video games are an evolution of movies not vice versa.
