  • I spend more time trying to find something to watch on Netflix than I do watching anything on Netflix and then I end up watching YouTube vídeos instead before I sleep.

"Some of you have an account, the rest of us have passwords" WION never fails to make me laugh 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Without even watching this video: The reason people are leaving Netflix is because they don't have any content. It's disgraceful that the number one streaming platform in the world has almost no content from the film and television mediums. I don't think most new subscribers realise that when joining. Within a couple of week's time, you have already seen everything you wanted. I've had Netflix for less than a year and they have already raised the price twice. For the 200,000 that did cancel their subs, just imagine how many thousands more WANT to cancel, but are either procrastinating about cancelling, or are plagued with the idea of FOMO when, after cancelling, some new show starts trending. There are more people who want to cancel their subscription than the 200,000 that did — just like there are more people trapped in unfulfilling marriages then those that get divorced.

Compared to rest of the OTT platforms in India, Netflix is very costly.
  • @nailah4200
They left Russia, and tried to charge us more, to make up the difference. Thats why I canceled last month. 15.99 is ridiculous for Netflix.

If Netflix won't add more good movies, I'll join those 200.000 people who walk out from Netflix.
  • @kantotong9044
If Netflix not allow people to share same account in different households, I'm sure they would lose large number of subscribers and leads to significant financial lost.

I left Netflix out of sheer disgust when the movie 'Cuties' came out. Since then their prediction for wokeness has gone off the rails, rolled over and burst into flames. Netflix is dead to me.
  • @Prakashkumar0007
Netflix should start yearly subscription like its competitors. Most of the Indians are using Amazon prime, Hotstar etc on yearly subscription.
  • @IceQeen1011
They also routinely make ground breaking, highly popular shows only for 2 seasons before abruptly stopping it. People are pissed at this too. it happened to me several times after which I left.
  • @UriahHeep100
Left Netflix about 2 years ago, never ending smut, Netflix is devoid of morals and any integrity!
  • I remember when TV was FREE!! Now they all charge a fee and still dont get local channels without paying extra. They all scam us.
  • In our case; it's the contents. We have lost interest. Netflix seems full of C-grade movies.
  • @Molch78
You nowadays need 4 different subscription to see more shows. In this case, more competition in streaming was worse for the customer. This split market also seems like it will be a comeback of piracy.

Netflix be like: Reject good shows, directors, stories, characters. Embrace unnecessary diversity, director's with his/her own agenda, LGBTQ, unnecessary anime/game adaptions.
  • @paulmetcalfe4054
The reason is the content has all gone woke. Nearly every new programme has a female lead with many BAME and LGBGT characters. I heard from a director that the reason was funding. Well they may have to think again as this type of non realistic content where the girl beats up 5 guys etc just doesn't work unless its a marvel comic movie and even then looks ridiculous.

I’m not sharing passwords. I just can’t afford it and don’t miss it. It’s like getting my nails done during lockdown. Now that I’ve learned I can live without it, I’ll never spend money on that again.
  • Remeber when CEO of Netflix said that he is disappointed with the low subscription rates in India. Somebody give him a memo, that Netflix doesn't accept RuPay card which 90% of the people use. I would've been a permanent subscriber but it is a hassle to find someone with a Visa card so I've only subscribed for 4 months. And NO!, I'm not going to use Visa or Mastercard.
  • @FMNelly
Netflix recently sent me an email telling me the price has gone up to $20.99 CAD a month. When I first joined, it was $11.99 CAD a month and I could have 5 profiles (biggest package available) on my account. Now I find that they keep adding stupid reality (scripted) shows instead of great movies like they used to have. Come out with good, new series shows, then abruptly cancel them after 1, 2 or 3 seasons. Then add more crap. Why pay more if they are just going to keep adding crap I won't watch. I'm ready to cancel.
  • @larrydugan1441
I can't find anything without "their nauseating progressive messaging ." Definitely time to cancel.
