I came across a 61lb (!!) box of untested Wii consoles, so of course I had to buy it... and man people leave some weird and interesting stuff on (and in) their nintendo wii consoles.

That Skyward Sword Wii channel was used to fix a game-breaking bug that occured late in the game if you talked to a certain NPC. If you did, other events in the game would never trigger and you would unable to complete the game as a result. That's what that channel was for. It was essentially a 'patch' you had to download from the Wii Shop to fix it.

12:23 fun fact: the wii + internet channel is legitimately just a video about how you can connect your wii console to the internet, and it only came installed on some wiis
  • It always fascinates me how people forget to take out their games out of their console. Like how? Are people sirously that lazy?

Now I wanna know what the naughty names were...
  • I can picture some gamestop employee yelling from the back room. "I RAN OUT OF MAGIC ERASER! I CAN'T CLEAN THIS WII!"

How many kids put the disc in upside down to convince their parents it's broke and they need a new console? "See mom, I put the disc in and it doesn't work. Buy me an XBOX!"

So funny thing. I was fixing a Mario special edition Wii system that had a broken disc drive and when I took it apart, there was a DS game stuck inside of the disk drive. I took that out and it worked fine. That's the weirdest I've come by.
  • You've aged yourself by not being familiar with Bubble Bobble. It was an arcade co-op released in 1986 and ported to the NES (good port) two years later

That Zelda save update channel is like Nintendo’s first DLC lol i believe it was to help players get out of a softlock In skyward sword
  • I think I mentioned before, but for the Wii Sports you find, make sure to check if it's version 1.0 It might be worth more because of speedrunners.
  • @Infindox
I find it bizzare that Wii Sports is more valuable then NSMB Wii, considering that literally everyone had Wii Sports? I don't understand lol
  • I remember buying a Wii console from Goodwill, and it turned out there was 3 disks crammed in the disk drive. The drive didn’t end up working, but still! 3 free games! lol

6:32 That sneeze was too funny, I know it's edited just to save the viewers from some colossal/not very pleasant sneeze or if it would of been too loud on the mic, but man that Wii must of had not just any ordinary dust in it but some kind of fairy dust in it or something to make the sneeze come out so petite like lol.
  • For the White Screen Nintendo Channel Fix.... connect the Wii To Wi-Fi

The Zelda Save Repair channel was to help out with a softlock that happened in "Skyward Sword". Late in the game, when you finish an objective and then talk to a certain NPC, the game's events will not progress and the game becomes unable to continue. The repair channel simply applied a patch that fixed the save data so the game would continue to go.
  • @GreatScott.
Wow not even knowing Bubble Bobble that's insane
  • I once found a copy of Lego Batman in a WiiU. Ok, yes, the WiiU was backwards compatible, but not to the DS. Console was fine otherwise and the game also worked once put into a DS.
  • @ItzYaBoyJesse
Usually you could replace the time/date battery with CR2032 lithium battery, it has a screw that you unscrew at the bottom front of the console and replace the battery.

Either the guy with the poop message on the wii had to take a poop or he thought the Wii was garbage. Either way, perfect nominee to showoff for the 61 pound box of Wii's 🤔
