  • Hi. If English happens to be your first language, please move on to the next channel. This is not a thesaurus, this is a lesson to help ESL learners to improve their vocabulary and get a higher score in IELTS, CAE, TOEFL and other proficiency exams. Thank you
  • Larry, my first language is English, but as much as I love adjectives and adverbs, I can't ever seem to recall the perfect one at the perfect moment. This is an excellent reminder of the majesty and grandure of the English language. Your pronunciation is refreshingly pleasant as well. Thank you
  • English is my first and only language. I landed on your video because I am exhausted with hearing people say “very, very” for lack of vocabulary. I struggle to find words sometimes and so I think that I will stay a while and elevate♥️
  • @xoxo31040xoxo
Thank you! Not only the selection of the alternative words, but the usage in the sentences with just the right nuances is so helpful. I was so tired of using beautiful, wonderful, lovely, and amazing all the time. Love your teaching style! 😊
  • Your way of teaching English is emblessing and easy to understand.
  • You are an excellent Teacher, your pronunciation is clear, understandable
  • Lovely, attractive, perfect, wonderful, fantastic, gorgeous, enviable, precious, delightful, charming.
  • That’s exactly the video I needed to watch. I used to exaggerate the use of beautiful and amazing. You really hit a nerve into my head. I’m grateful for that
  • I've had a dictionary and thesaurus from my early 20s I was advised to look at a different word every day in my dictionary as it explains the meaning of each word, also then to check that word in the thesaurus which gives many synonyms to the particular word.
  • I am so delighted with your pronunciation, clear, eloquent, even for us beginners!! 😊👌👏 Big THANKS!❣️
  • @JLR4244
I just discovered your channel. I love learning new vocabulary words. It makes me sad to hear so many people today using bad grammar. They do not seem to care about vocabulary.
  • @nsbd90now
I'm glad this showed up as a suggestion. "It pays to improve your vocabulary!" I tend to go along with the idea that the more words you know, the larger is the world you experience.
  • Wow!! Thank you Harry. I am amazed at this, It makes a huge difference with just 10 words, excellent tone of voice.
  • @irenewong2063
This is my first lesson in your class but never be the last. I’m no hesitation to share your videos to my friends.
  • So happy I found this channel today. I’ve made it a practice for my self to use words in a diverse manner. As your conveying here. This is something kids do not get to gain understanding of and if so only very minute. 🙏
  • Thank you so much for this educational lesson. I love the English language. I love to write, speak well. Looking forward to further lessons. God bless you.
  • My sister has a little pug and it's so adorable I can't stop myself from hugging it. I like august for its glorious weather. I wish you could see my outfit that day! It was absolutely stunning. That performance we saw these weekends at a theatre was majestic! I want to visit some enchanted villages in Germany next year. The view from the summit of Hoverla mountain was wonderful! I bought that book I waited for since last year because there was none Ukrainian translation. - How splendid! What a breathtaking view I saw when rode on a ferris wheel!
  • I just found your channel. Language can be used like a scalpel or a club, and teaching people to be more nimble with their language is a noble endeavor.
