Visiting Historic Harpers Ferry - Spring / Summer 2022 Episode 5

This is my favorite place in the world to visit and take a drive to on a nice Sunday from Arlington, Virginia. Been there so many times I have lost count. Such a beautiful, historical little town, especially gorgeous during the Fall months. Years ago, they had ladies walking around in hoop skirts, soldiers dressed in Civil War uniforms, a Civil War wax museum, several antique shops, a glass blowing shop, an ironworks demonstration. I think Covid may have changed a lot of little things in the town, have not been there for about five years, but it is still a wonderful place.

I love waking up and having coffee while watching Traveling Robert. He inspires and educates! Thanks for keeping the dream alive, Traveling Robert!

When I see that town you can't help but think about the activities and where people would walk ..and then I think about ghosts.

Robert is the undisputed champ of travel videos. Every time I travel I check his videos for tips and ideas. One of my favorite is the trip to Montreal which is a true classic. I'm definitely a fan.

Robert, I really enjoyed you hiking the Maryland Heights Trail and relaxing at the top with that awesome view. OUTSTANDING VIDEO ROBERT!!

I really love that you get video of things that are not easily found on the internet already. Meaning, we can Google museums and such but we can't always Google a scenic walk or drive. I really appreciate the original content!

There you go following us again! LOL! Really, it has been some 40 years since I have been in the area. except we were in Cumberland Maryland a couple of years ago. Back in the day, I was all over those mountains (hills) on a motorcycle. Shame, back then, you just don't slow down to admire the details. The Potomac now, I have canoed rapids up near there and sailed my first boat from DC to Annapolis from that river, the start of my boating life. Sure you bring back memories, but we like your perspective a lot more, as you say, one day, we will be back!

Thank you for showing harpers fairy. I have never seen it before. It is so picturesque..those streets are so narrow feels more like Europe or something.
