How did he get hired? This is not his first job.
  • I call complete BS on this, you knew exactly what he was, your whole department knew exactly what he was, and you continued to look the other way! Until it was too documented for you to be able to look the other way.
  • If “law enforcement” wants to be trusted, stop infringing our rights. Stop acting like YOU ARE THE LAW. We The People are the law
  • Wow you are "no clue" boss. So ignorance of your employees doing their job makes you just as rotten.
  • 6 departments in 4 years tell us none of you cared to stop him before he killed..you all have her blood on your hands...

Isn’t the department and city or county that hired and employed him as responsible? At a minimum you must do a much much better job in the hiring process to identify individuals at risk for this behavior and not put them on the streets with the authority and means to decide who lives and who dies. So no, he is not solely responsible for his actions. You are also partly responsible.
  • Who hired him❗️Who vetted him ❓️ Why are police allowed to move from one department to another ⁉️
  • @BaobobMiller
He received that training AND the inferences that his actions and attitude constitute valid and acceptable police training from somewhere. Additionally the other officer on the scene being completely unfazed by the shooting and failing to immediately disarm and take into custody the armed and dangerous killer right in front of them seems to demonstrate that this is business as usual for your department unless you get caught red handed. Still further, his record was one of unacceptable and If I recall criminal behavior on the job when you deliberately chose to hire him.
  • You say one rouge officer but this happens all over the United States explain that!
  • He's not alone ! There are too many of these thugs ,killer cops out here all over this US ! He doesn't remember George Floyd .Sandra Bland ,ect
  • There are too many that are considered rogue. There are too many people dying unnecessarily. He knew the risks and he was unhinged. I watched the tape. There was no reason for him to do what he did in his disillusioned mind. There’s got to be away to weed these people out. I don’t think anyone’s paying attention when the complaint start racking up and things get a little questionable for how they treat people, it’s just dismissed as an anomaly. When in all reality, it’s a trend and escalating behavior.
  • Work on teaching all cops about the constitution at the academy and stop making them so afraid for their own safety (and egos) that they stop thinking of the oath they swear to the constitution is just the last hurdle to getting that badge! Talking to a reporter doesn’t stop the disregard for our (or that victims) rights. Your academies, nationwide is where your supposed to focus!!

One rouge individual that happens over and over again
  • @kwbrack
The deputy who was with him should face charges for not stepping in and de-escalating the situation.

With his dishonorable background, it was very predictable that he was capable of doing what he did. What in his background told you he could be trusted to work in law enforcement?
