Sorry for your loss. By the way it’s okay to not feel sad about your neighbor dying, you just didn’t resonate with them. Now you know this time around to really get to know your new neighbor well. Stuff like greeting them every day and making an effort to remember their face vividly so when they inevitably die you can have their mental picture haunt you. It’s a good reminder that next time you could be the neighbor.
