Randall Carlson is a master builder and architectural designer, teacher, geometrician, geomythologist, geological explorer and renegade scholar. I have had the great privilege to go on 2 geology trips with him this year. I learned more in those few weeks than I did in all my years in school. Much of the trip was not recorded at all, but thankfully we had a camera rolling when Randall gave this talk in the late hours of the night, by the fire, under the desert stars.

This video is a short glimpse into the great wealth of knowledge that Randall possesses. If you want to go on a geology expedition with Randall, here is a link to future trips contactatthecabin.com/ (I will be on the Feb 10-13 trip in Arizona. Randall won't be on that one, but there will be some other amazing teachers)

Randall Carlson's Podcast can be found here randallcarlson.com/

Huge thank you to SpencerVybes for shooting the fireside footage and the drone footage. Spencer creates incredible content. On YT: ‪@SpencerVybes‬ or on IG: @vybesource

Randall Carlson is a living legend and the wisest teacher I've ever come across. I had the great privilege to go on two geology tours with him this year. I learned more in those few weeks than I did in all my years of college. There is no substitute for getting out in the field and experiencing this stuff first hand. Much of the trip was not recorded, but thankfully we had a camera rolling when Randall gave this talk in the late hours of the night, by the fire, under the desert stars. This video is a short glimpse into the great wealth of knowledge that Randall possesses. If you want to go on a geology expedition with Randall, here is a link to future trips contactatthecabin.com/ (I will be joining a few of these as well) If you enjoyed this video and want to help create more, please consider supporting After Skool on Patreon www.patreon.com/AfterSkool Don't lose your sense of wonder. To the worthwhile person seeing this, your dream is not dead. Don’t allow the past and current pains and hurts stop and define you. You’re more than a conqueror. Rise up and put yourself together. Keep pushing your future depends on it. I wish you all the best in life ❤️.

He is a geological SantaClause, coming down the chimney of our consciousness gifting presents of ancient cosmic and earthly knowledge. Thank you!

This man is nothing short of an absolute blessing to the world.
  • Carlson changed the way I look at the world. He will go down as one of the great minds of this generation.

I first heard Randall, like most people, on the Joe Rogan Podcast. I've seen those podcasts at least 3-4 times each and my mind gets blown every.damn.time! This helps put this into perspective and I realise that any given moment should really be appreciated because things could certainly get worse very quickly.

I love listening to a good Storyteller. Today, we have to be the heroes and continue the journey. Even when it's painful
  • Randall is a polymath and renaissance man in the literal sense of the term, thank you for making more people aware of him.
  • I like to picture this 'Fire Side Talk' as a retreat I could pay for, to spend a week in the woods, in a cottage, with Nature Walks, wholesome food, a good book and a warm cup of tea. Then each night we would all gather around the Fire and listen to Randall talk about his craft for a few hours. And ever minute would be worth it.

“If we could see our lives from God's perspective, many of us would be forced to admit that our lives are cluttered with all sorts of things that keep us from moving forward and receiving the abundant life he promises. We need to simplify our lives, eliminating the things that bog us down and keep us from doing what God says are priorities.” ― Randy Carlson,
  • One of the more unforntunate things is that the people with access to bunkers and securities against apocalyptic disasters are the last people who should be carrying on the human legacy.

Love listening to Randall; his channel does not get the subscribers it really deserves. Person reading this, if you haven't had a chance, head over to his channel after watching this for some great talks on geology, cosmic events, and their effects on the people who would have been living here at the time. Be warned, he goes off topic often but is still a joy to listen to. Edit: The collection of clips for the meteor are incredible. I've never seen that event from so many different shots and really appreciated this.

We are never too far away from extinction. We had best make the most of our time here. Unfortunately greed, envy, avarice, hubris, anger and hatred are never too far from our goal of peace, empathy and love. Our current climate of fear demonstrates this perfectly. May we all come together to meet the challenges ahead as one vision, one goal, one people.

The campfire hue is perfect to hear Randall talk through. The crackles and everything just make it better. Fun vid and solid content worth watching.
  • @thedubs999
Randall would be the coolest uncle to ever have.
  • @adamsowers8957
Randall Carlson is a personal hero of mine. He is an amazing intelligent man. More people should pay attention to what he says.
  • @Goldun-nah
I feel like I’m at that campfire with these people listening to the tale of our cosmic and human history. Much like our ancient ancestors did. Love this
