#rtx4090 #asuspcdiy #Hyperion - Just when we thought ROG couldn't produce a more iconic chassis than the Helios, they come forward with the Hyperion! A chassis with quite literally 'extra everything'! Two 420mm radiators? yes. Powerful airflow? yes. Space to store your extra screws and tools? Also yes! Let's get stuck in...

00:00 - Intro
00:41 - GR701 Case Overview
01:57 - Build Hardware
02:33 - ROG Z690 Glacial Assembly
04:54 - GR701 Assembly

It's been anticipated for quite some time now, but I'm stoked to share with you my latest build in the brand new ROG GR701 Hyperion! Additional to this, the first hardline PETG custom loop on my channel featuring hardware support from EKWB! What a great time :D

So, what makes the GR701 unique? Of course, the insane amount of airflow and cooling options will be the first big feature here. Fun fact, you can indeed install a 420mm rad at the top AND at the front simultaneously. The chassis comes with four 140mm ROG fans on the front and a single 140mm on the rear. this will provide a solid foundation to get things going, but truthfully your options are limitless.

Moving on to the hardware, that ROG Glacial Z690 is a stunner right? It's doing and incredible job of keeping the Intel i9 13900K cool too. At the time of filming (due to the studio lights) the ambient room temp was approx 27c. The GR701 really does allow space for the most creative of builds, headroom for the Strix 4090 is plentiful along with supporting hardware for a custom loop as demonstrated.

Overall, I'm totally stoked to see ASUS ROG innovating once again and bringing flagship performance into 2023 with the Hyperion chassis!

I'd also like to say that the custom loop cooling from EK Water Blocks has been a real pleasure to build with. EK really do make the process straight forward, whilst having excellent performance and aesthetics to match any project. • Video editing - 100 Soundtrack - 100 Workspace - 100 Lighting - 100 Backdrop - 100 This not only is a master class with an extraordinary build, but a how to in video production. Amazing work…I was mesmerized for 14min. Think of how many people you’ve inspired to build a custom pc. Only to find out it’s like watching Kobe play basketball and think I can do that. Hahaha!!!! Sensei Lee thank you.
  • @sweeleangloh
Holy! Speechless....this is massive...with EK waterblocks!! 10/10 man..and I like you added the ''coffee session'' there😆
  • @zakjohnson89
It’s plain to see a whole lot of skill, care, and production value is going into these videos man. Ur providing something more than entertainment for us on here. Thank you, and keep doing ur thing
  • @wwbren
I have seen so many liquid cooling systems built on Youtube, this is the first one that shows a pressure test, most were showing leak tests with ktichen towels! Glad to see something new.
  • Matt, after watching many of your videos, I can say with no hesitation each is made with A LOT of talent and dedication. The music flows with the scenes and there is just enough of the actual sounds to compliment the entire production! The added graphics are well done and even the smoke testing for the end build is something others don't do. It's amazing to see how you say so much with NO words. And that studio/office....dam I am jealous.
  • The close ups of the screws getting the appropriate amount of torque, is oddly satisfying. I also love the in-progress camera pans. Please keep it up!!
  • Subscribed after I happened upon your Noctua-themed North build, and I gotta say I am repeatedly impressed with the production quality on all of these videos. Good detail without extra fluff, information presented clearly (and aesthetically), and of the course the builds themselves are excellent. Keep up the good work!
  • @gems_b
Thank you for blessing our eyeballs with this 14min masterpiece. Please do more custom loop builds
  • @8nhuman8
That's what I call a true PC building videos. Magnificent work
  • @johnslii
The incredible quality of the material, the attention to detail is amazing!!!!
  • @Unamatrix01
Quite an impressive build, the Asus ROG GR701 Hyperion case has design elements from the Cooler Master Cosmos series. I have owned various Cooler Master Cosmos cases since the original RC1000,the Cosmos II Ultra Tower remains my favourite full-tower case to this day.
  • @Osmosis909
I am normally a video "skipper" so I fast forward, skip around and rarely do I watch a full video end -to-end with ONE exception...Your content :) Love your builds!!!
  • @MrEtnie
Loving every second of it. Man, so much Inspiration, gotta win the lottery and build not just one, but a few of those systems myself. Worked in a PC store for a while in the early 2000s, but PC builds weren’t quite up to that level back then. Keep ‘em coming. 🤘🏼🤘🏼
  • Such an exceptional build! And the accompanying bg music is on point! WOW
  • Mr Matt Lee, I love all your videos, but this one is by far the best of them all, you really spend time showing how to build this one step by step, great work
  • I was referred to you by my friend and I couldn't take my eyes of your work. Professional eye candy type of video shoot and edit, great background music, a calm and inviting atmosphere.
  • this thing looks insane your a legendary pc builder i could never build a hardline water cooled system in a million years!
  • Thanks for pointing me at this video of your Hyperion build, and to your channel in general.
