It's been a long, interesting adventure over the past 4 years, but I'm happy where I am, and so grateful that you all have been on this trip with me!

Look for updates from family if things don't go so well in the near term, but know that I've had a rich, rewarding, impossibly full life, and I plan to see you all on the other side :)

Much, MUCH love!!

- Dan

Do not stand By my grave, and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep— I am the thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glints in snow I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle, autumn rain. As you awake with morning’s hush, I am the swift, up-flinging rush Of quiet birds in circling flight, I am the day transcending night. Do not stand By my grave, and cry— I am not there, I did not die.
  • This why I hate cancer: it chooses the nicest people as its victims.

First of all, Dan is still with us, though very ill. ❤️ Second of all, thank you all for your kind sharing to keep Dan in Austin, as he so wanted. You have been incredibly kind and we are immensely grateful. I ask that you not send any more donations, as your labor of love has been effective, but is no longer needed. We will be closing the PayPal account as soon as possible, but until then, please know that you helped and rest in that. Much love. ❤️🐼🤗❤️

Lost my 40 year old wife to liver cancer 2 years , she was the most beautiful and sweet person , she was super brave until the last breath , they waited too long at Moffitt cancer center and she never even got treatment, which could have bought us another year if they did act fast enough , she still live in my heart and the hearts of her 3 children. I miss her soo much Much love ,we all will have a similar conclusion, just another phase of life.

My dad was hospice for 6 months and passed this past Mother’s Day. You have given your best and shown people to continue to fight regardless of the circumstances. God bless you and your family.

I'm not a religious person, but God if you are there, please take care of this good man. ❤️
  • Always amazed by people facing imminent death and keeping a good attitude and pleasant demeanor. Worrying and fretting will not add 1 hour to your life. I’m certain death is not the end.

I’m sitting here semi bed ridden with a sore lower back, I know I’ll be back on my feet soon but feeling sorry for myself and then I stumble onto this man. Thank you for this, courageous and inspiring.

Hi Dan, it’s been 9 Months since u posted the video saying “ I have about 2-6 Months left to live “. We are all very proud of how far you’ve come on this tough journey. You’ve inspired us all and you have taught me things about life that I’m so grateful for. Lots of love from Australia 🇦🇺

I always think about what Elizabeth Edwards said when a reporter asked her if she was afraid of dying. She said with a chuckle “ we are all going to die, i just know what I’m going to die of”. Those of us who are not sick don’t have life guaranteed.

My father died of cancer 20 years ago. The hospice was without doubt the best place for his end-of-life care and death. Don't be afraid of it for you or your loved ones.

Dear Dan, I casually discovered you on YouTube and have been following your journey for months. I find it important that you understand just how meaningful and impactful your life is on thousands of others. Your wisdom and joy have influenced so many, and I am sure that, with a beautiful cascade effect, it will spread to millions as each of us puts to work the lessons learned. You have made an incalculable positive impact. Thank you, and I wish you all the joy.

  • I have no Idea why YouTube sent this video to my feed????? I have not searched cancer or chriropractors or anything related recenlty...BUT anyway I am glad it did for I am a richer person now than I was 1 hour ago. Thank Dr. Dan. My Prayers are with you. May the great Physician Lord Jesus bring you bodily health.

My Dad spent the last six years of his life living with my wife and me. He died at 88 years old. I also did not know what hospice care meant. My Dad was placed in Hospice Care. One nurse summed up the meaning of Hospice. Their job is to neither delay or speed up the patient's death. They simply provide comfort. For example: the Hospice nurse gave us some morphine sponges to help keep my father's lips from cracking and to take away some pain and anxiety. He died in the middle of the night very peacefully. No drama.

As someone directly affected by mCRC (younger brother diagnosed at 36, passed away at 39) thank you for providing much needed awareness to this condition. And i truly hope that the time that is left , however long that may be, can be relatively pain free and emotionally enriching. Thank you once again.
  • I’m blown away by this man’s heart and mind!! True inspiration
