Heavy snowstorm in the cold mountains . Imagine you lying in bed under a thick warm blanket listening to the icy howling wind and falling snow on the roof. No noises from people talking and heavy traffic keeping you awake. These howling wind sounds are the best background sounds for sleeping, relaxing and studying. We hope you enjoy this calming winter ambience! Good sleep!!

◼ All my soundscape videos are made in high quality with editing programs such as Vegas Pro, Photoshop and Audacity, and take many hours / days of editing and mixing to create. The equipment I use to record the audio are the Zoom H5 or H6 recorder + Audio-Technica BP4025 microphone, and for the videos I use the GoPro Hero6. Some video and audio files are made in collaboration with other video / audio creators with all the licenses & commercial use rights that are necessary. I mixed these video or audio files with the creation of myself. Sometimes I use a photo and make a moving video of it.

To everyone like me who suffers from bad mental health. I wish you all the love and comfort that this brings myself and you. I can't live without these ambient sounds.

Am I the only one who absolutely LOVES winter? The bitter cold, the frosty snow, the quiet emptiness, its all so surreal...

It's nothing short of a miracle that these sounds, which once represented death and starvation, are now used for relaxation to go to sleep

The love for this is a residue of a time when adequate shelter wasnt guaranteed at all. You dont love the sound of the elements as such but the shelter that protects you. Its the feeling of safety thats let you sleep.
  • Is it just me or does anyone else prefer this over summer? I would love to be in 1-3 of those houses 😊

The most beautiful feeling that when you lay down on a warm bed and listening to that sound coming from out side.
  • Hey you. Yes, you. You're probably scrolling through the comments, like I am, reading all these motivational comments. If you are reading this at night, you should get some sleep, and don't stress about everything going on in the world, or what you are going through. Don't dwell on things from the past, don't stress on your future. Just live your life, because you only get one. Do whatever makes you happy, not what other people want from you. For me, I'm gonna wake up tomorrow morning, hit the gym, and cherish life for the amazing blessing that it is. I hope you do the same and have an amazing day as well ❤
  • I grew up in New England in a home surrounded by the woods. I wasn’t the most social kid and I was happy with my own company. I would spend hours playing outside in the snow, making forts and climbing trees. And every now and then I would just stop and look up. Sometimes I’d just fall back, into the soft snow. And I’d listen. This is the sound I would hear. Ahh, so relaxing. Near silence. It was a simple time of my life, one I miss dearly. Sometimes I wish I could return to it, even just for a moment.

The real question is: Why do people dislike videos like these? Did they expect something else?

To anybody reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind may clarity replace confusion. And may peace and calmness fill your life.😊

This reminds me of my childhood. Used to live beside the city of Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Some winters were snowy and windy and I used to lay in my warm bed listening to the singing blizzard outside. Feeling really grateful for the warmth of our apartment giving us shelter. Good old times.

I honestly love winter. Something about the wind howling, snow falling peacefully at night while looking out your window, fresh snow on trees beautifully decorating them. My favourite thing is being in bed with cozy blankets and listening to the stories of the wind 🌬 much love from Canada

Wonderful, even with how far in technology we've advanced, we always come back to nature, where we came from.
