    My current goal for 2024 is to learn figure drawing, and I am starting with gesture drawing. Thank you for the review of the book. I think I will add this to my art books collection. It's a good reference to contrast my own gesture drawing practice.

  • I like your art book reviews but although this book may be helpful, my experience in art school was that way too much time was spent on gesture drawings and quick poses rather than trying to develop a finished drawing that you might want to keep and display.
