  • Just because someone stumbles and loses the way doesn't mean they're lost forever. That's the best quote from Professor X & it's true in real life too.
  • The scene with young and old Charles is so darn beautiful. It's the soul of the character; plus, can't get better than hearing the wisdom through Patrick Stewart.
  • @MikeB12800
Did she miss the part in the elevator where Quicksilver references Magneto being his dad? “My mom once knew a guy that could do that”
  • @wildtime845
There was a deleted scene where Logan and storm had a moment together but it became a blooper because she got all excited after the kiss lol
  • @Runescope
As for the government having money to do secret installations, I feel I should quote Julius Levinson (Judd Hirsch) from Independence Day: "You don't actually think they spend $20,000 on a hammer, $30,000 on a toilet seat, do you?" lol
  • 42:34 "So does this mean that the timeline that we saw in X-Men and X2 is a completely different . . . world?" Yep! To everyone but Logan, who remembers it.
  • @AidantheLegend
that scene where Charles is trying to talk the guards out of their way is hilarious because even tho his powers could easily take their mind and make them leave, without his powers, he cant convince anyone for the life of him haha
  • @iTakerrr
So what happend was, them changing the past created 2 different timelines. Everything that happened in X Men 1-3 was wiped away as that was the timeline where the sentinels took over. So Jean would be alive as well as Scott etc. It also means that the timeline of the younger cast is split now and takes on it's own version of events.

There is an extended version of this movie called "X-Men: Days of Future Past: The Rogue Cut." In it all of Rogue's scenes that were removed from the theatrical cut were put back, including several other alternate scenes with Magneto and Ice Man.
  • @clash5j
This film is based on one of the most famous X-Men comic book arcs. In the comics, it's actually Kitty that goes back in time
  • @SG-js2qn
Glad to see you're catching some references! Yes, this movie was made AFTER Iron Man 2, so the scene with the Sentinels was indeed reminiscent of the similar scene at the Stark Expo.
  • @acwolf92
Funny Trivia: in the x-men universe whenever there's a dystopian future Logan's always the last to die lol
  • P.S. There's only one thing that this movie left me hugely wanting. They gave us the best that Wolverine has looked yet - in that awesome future suit featuring bits of yellow, and with the grey streaks in his hair and the adamatium claws back - but we never got to see him in action against the sentinels. Plotwise makes sense, but such a darn shame.

The Congressman @ 11:50 mentioning Cuba is Len Wein. He is the guy that created Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Storm, Colossus (The metal guy) and a couple others not present in the movies, one being the older brother of Warpath ( who spots the sentinels) I was friends with Len and talked Marvel characters with him every week because he hung out at the comic book shop in the San Fernando Valley where I worked. He even appeared in one of my fan movie shorts for Wizard magazine.

I just assumed Quicksilver recorded himself a mixtape at super speed so it sounds right when he plays it back when hes fast.
  • The end credit scene was a reference to En Sabah Nur, aka Apocalypse, the very first mutant ever born. He was born in Ancient Egypt, and is a major enemy of the X-Men.
  • @dntm123
As someone else has said, in the comic this is based on, Kitty is the one that gets sent back in time. But also, fun fact: the one to send her back in time was a character named Rachel Summers, the daughter of Scott and Jean.
  • @cmcgccjsl
So close to "Logan", the ultimate mutant and comic book movie. "Logan", "The Dark Knight", and (in my opinion) "Infinity War/End Game are all in the discussion for the best comic book movies ever made. "Logan" deserved multiple Oscar nominations for the performances alone.
