  • I honestly didn't expect to be so interested in this video before I started watching it. Understanding how things work and/or how they are made gives a lot more context to products we regularly use. Thanks for sharing.

Just used the trim coat on my 2yr old rav 4. The black was looking faded and grayish until this stuff. Looks amazing after a month of rain and car washing. Shines like I just put it on. Great stuff.
  • Their headlight restoration kit is bar none the easiest on the market to use and fantastic results
  • WOW !! Great video !! Your so lucky to have the opportunity to go to a manufacturer and get some video and share it here !! Love it when the manufacturer allows this to happen and show the public which means there is no tricks on his products. I will now buy products from Cerakote !
  • @jdgarage85
That’s awesome for them to be so transparent and honest. Great products for sure
  • you are strong!!! I watch my videos from Greece and I keep learning from your videos!!! thank you!!

Great insightful video, Josh. I've seen Cerakote products around for years but never used them. I guess I'll have to check them out. First-time commenter to your videos. 👍

Love the videos. I’m not a pro but just like taking care of my cars. I have XPEL ceramic coat and PPF on the car. So rapid ceramic is ok to use on top of these? I’ve been using XPEL booster, but it seems to be difficult to “buff” off with second wipe. Can you just spray on and hose off like with Tech. Choice? Thanks!

Great info 👍🏼 bro! I’ve been a fan of Cerakote for a while. I have multiple engine bay parts on my AMG GLC63 coated with Cerakote to stop or reflect the heat. Thx for the technical info!
  • Trim coat is great! I've had it on both my vehicles now well over two years and the trim still looks fantastic.
  • @frogmandave1
What an awesome video! Very good content here Josh.
  • I bought a used freshly painted 2015 F-150 XLT just over two years ago. The black railings along the truck bed had turned grey along with the mirrors and some other plastic trim. A month later I gave it a two bucket wash and then used CeraKoat Trim Coat on and to this day the parts applied to are still black. Oh, I live in Florida and the truck is parked daily in the sun and stays in my driveway every night.
  • @T4detailing
Been using the trim coating for couple years and love it
  • @DareToListen1
So if I did this (and I would love to see a video on how to apply) - would it be OK to still use Technicians Choice 582 on it as a drying aid/enhancer? Any concern using them together? Is it overkill using them together?
  • @archiepezek
Super video Josh. This stuff sounds interesting and, at $19.95, I have to try it out.
  • @jagtan13
I've added the sealant to my paint and glass, i know they have a dedicated glass coating, but it's still awesome. It lets the water beed up, and you can blow the water clean off the surface without it leaving trails! Usually, with wax and water on glass and paint, the drops would leave smaller droplets. This also helps it self clean in my obervation as it lets the water pick up and retain dust as it sheds off the car. I have not had to wash my car after rains, and i have not had problems with any etching if the rain dries on it.
  • @LTZ_Z71
I use the ceramic paint sealant on my boat mainly because it's pretty cheap and very easy to use. After every trip I give her a wash and wipe down with the sealant and the boat looks like new.
  • Great video Josh! I bought a bottle a couple of months ago and am waiting for it to warm up some so I can do my Murano.

How long do you have to wait to apply Cerakote after you touch up some chips and peeling?
