I know this all too well. 24 years of drug addiction. The dark ones really did just about steal my mind forever. I really did hope that someone would hear me "crying in the rain". Thank You Father God for breaking those chains forever!!!!!

Psalm 118:5 "Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free"

16 years of addiction but now I am set free by the blood of my lord and saviour Jesus christ

I first heard this song when Lifesong was a new album. I loved it then but after a 12 year addiction to pornography I finally understand the cry of "Set me free" far better and more personally than I ever did before.

Ive been an addict since I was 22 years old starting with hydrocodone to oxycottin to methadone clinics, Suboxone clinics and now at 41 years old and my first wife dead from a brain aneurysm and the second one found someone new while I was on life support for 9 wks and months of physical therapy and just around the clock care. I was giving 3 yrs to live with the heart I have now bc the blood infection that I had caused all my organs to fail but God wasn't through with me and after everything I've been through and lost im finally able to say that I want more! God knows my plans and my heart but please pray for me! God says (say unto the mountain be removed and cast in the sea and doubt not and it shall) so I could use all the prayers!
