The fire alarm isn't locking anyone in. The doors are supposed to close to help prevent fire from spreading. All you have to do is open the door and go through it.

To answer the question at 1:09, "Why does the fire alarm lock you in?", it doesn't lock any doors. It closes automated doors or allows electrically held open doors to close to cut off air flow to a fire. The doors can be opened manually.
