The acting capabilities of this family are absolutely supreme. Grade A. I don't understand why it got so much hate when it was out.

I love how they show that people who are in distress or anger will think and act irrationally. I know it's a basic plot but still, I think it's really nice.

Even if these are all acted, this is fucking genius. This is what the internet is for, its such a good setting for a show, I really love how you used youtube as a medium for the show. All the characters have different channels and different styles and they are all linked together with the family drama. Great job.

Revisiting this, the acting and writing is top notch. The way Jesse answers his dad with "yes, sir"; you can tell Jesse's tortured soul is at odds. He wants to be who he wants to be, but he feels so trapped by his father's tightening grip on his life, it was during these last weeks of the series' run that we saw Jesse's very last bits of hope and optimism shattered. Honestly, the last chance he had was for Uncle Larry to maybe intervene. I wonder of Psycho Dad was quietly breaking down under that brash bravado when Uncle Larry said "he runs away from you every time you turn around." Something like that could have given Psycho Dad pause, but he indignantly carried on trying to control and break Jesse down, and it cost him his life
