    The arctic due to climate change caused by global warming in melting. During summer months the Arctic sea ice has been shrinking by 12.2% per decade since1979. Melting glaciers add to the rising of sea levels which in turn increase his coastal erosion and elevate storm surge as warning air in ocean temperatures .
