It's not just a door. That is special place giving echo and resonantion. They arent using microphone. Usually ancient churches were designed to create perfect resonantion effect.

As a musician. The soloist surprised me...but the choir...maaaannnn. this is a very beautifully written piece. The control and tonal quality of singers

This masterpiece "The Bells of Dawn" was composed by the brilliant Russian composer Georgy Sviridov in the style of an Orthodox choir. The lyrics were written by the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin. The singer is the fair-haired blond Alexey Mikhailov. The music was recorded in St. Petersburg in 2018.

I was NOT expecting that low voice. Actually, i was expecting the high voice. But it came from somewhere else. This was stunning and an absolute masterpiece.
