WHEW, classic example of Maue bein' extra right here. Did I need the translucent hair and tail? Nope, but I sure wanted them.

Here's my contribution to the Part Of Your World Reanimated project, coming out soon in celebration of MerMay! There are some animation quirks I don't care for, but I'm happy with this overall. For Ariel's design here, I took inspiration from ghost sharks, hatchetfish, and other deep-sea dwellers. And Flounder's a blobfish because of course he is. Enjoy!

that’s so amazing. i’ve seen your progress and it’s outstanding. would you recommend the animatorisland as a main guidance. i wanna learn traditional animation but it’s hard to find a good teacher
