Ann would have been out of the job and into the workhouse. She doesn't seem to have grasped that there would be a cost to exercising such principles. Being sacked and possibly beaten.

Anne would not have made it to her age in the real 19th century. She would have either perished penniless on the streets from hunger without being able to keep job, or she would have been "offed" by a worker that couldn't have afforded her sabotaging.

One thing I never did understand about the rabbit, chicken , trout situation is what’s the difference with the trout why are they so against the other too but not fish like make it make sense 🤦♀️

Think if they had stayed at the Inn a bit longer than they would have gotten the hang of the horses and kitchen etc. Tyger worked to death did every task without complaining he was exhausted that when he went to eat he brought it back up again.
