    Dani is that light skin girl in elementary that thinks she is being bullied because she is light skin. Claiming dark skin girls were jealous saying” You think you’re so much better because you’re light skin” when in reality she really does think she is better and she constantly does things to make that known 🙄

    It's annoying enough that lightskin versus dark-skinned mess is used to belittle us. I saw this song and knew it wasn't a song of empowerment, but to humiliate. People want the hair, the style, positive culture, and skin, but not the struggle and fight against the negative stereotypes they have of us. I always says this, "We come in the lightest of ivory to the darkest ebony. We are a rainbow of chocolates, that many wish they could taste." Black men and women, we are wonderfully blessed with the melanin.
