This show is the only modern iteration of Tom & Jerry that came close to capturing the magical slapstick genius of the original cartoon. Truly a worthy successor and a real shame it didn't last longer.

Tales was underatted honestly kind somewhat saved and freshred the series while still being faithful to hanna and Barbara

I grew up with this series and it will always remain my personal favorite iteration of the characters.

It's incredible how faithful they were here, barring the lack of guns or gunpowder-related things. Shoutout to the impact effects with the red outlines - another note they took from the OG cartoons.

Looking at this series’ run, I don’t know if it ran for 2 seasons, but looking at the art style, I noticed the original first batch of episodes had this art style that was more known with the Tom & Jerry film, Shiver Me Whiskers, basically if it was done by the same people who worked on What’s New Scooby-Doo. Then the next batch of episodes I can tell we’re done by Spike Brandt, who is well known for his iconic involvement with the cat and mouse duo, whether for better with A Nutcracker Tale, or for worse with the direct to DVD crossover movies, and is also known for his work alongside Tom Bancroft on the 2021 sequel of Space Jam, A New Legacy
