Slight smile from Master Chief after the speech. Good detail

Idk if anyone else was but this scene had me teary-eyed, goosebumps and pumped. The background gun fire, explosions, music, John's introduction, Keyes speach and the Marines reactions was legendary...

I don’t care what anyone says. This was a phenomenal episode of television.

I wasnt with master chief having his helmet off but its instances like this and season two that make me change my mind a little .

"You're the finest Marines I've ever seen." Those UNSC Army soldiers that were also on Reach: ... -_-

I love when he (Keyes) says "this is John 117 you know him as master chief" and everyone starts looking at each other like we can do this. This whole speech was awesome.

They need to keep the current showrunner and improve the writing a little bit. Otherwise, this was a massive improvement over the first season.

I may not like the Kwan & Soran stuff in this show, but most things with Chief, ONI, and the Covenant war this season I've been sold!

Spoilers ahead This dude was one of the best among the cast, this scene was great (you can really tell that the dialogue improved a ton) and it gave major vibes of it being one of his last, sucks to know that it was the case. Curious to see the direction that they take with the Pillar of Autumn or if it’s even in the show, this felt incredibly premature and forced just to capture the aura of Reach’s fall, if he actually died, I at least hope that someone takes his spot as an important character (Johnson, Lord Hood or Cutter showing up would be great). The scene itself reminded me of how the Marines were a major highlight in Halo 2 and how they reacted to the Chief’s presence, they had a ton of personality and became instantly hopeful and driven as soon as they fought beside him or knew he was around, here, both of those things were well-depicted, I just wish that they would’ve made John say something to them, game-Chief would’ve at least delivered some cool, brief remark but here they just made him stand awkwardly, makes sense for how he’s currently like in the show but it would’ve been a nice opportunity to make him express himself a bit more during such an event.
