こうして、歌で戦争というものは絶対にしてはいけないと伝えることは素晴らしい。 どうやったら、繰り返さないか今を生きる人たちは真面目に考えなければならないと心から思います。 きっと、この曲は当時を共に過ごした大切な人への手紙みたいな…生きて欲しかった人への手紙…と自分は感じました。 どうかこの曲が島の風と波に乗せて広がりますように。

沖縄民謡ってすごいですね、声の出し方が沖縄特有の歌い方なのかな。この楽器は沖縄三線っていうものでしょうか。 歌詞が本当に…今世界で戦争している全ての人に聴いてもらいたいですね。
