    I like this anthem far better than the U.S. anthem. This anthem has a sense of strength and dignity and so much positive, welcoming energy.

    One of my great-grandfathers given name was General Lee Melton born 1864. I wonder how they got along with their Yankee neighbors for this was in a mixed part of Kentucky

    I live in Illinois, and I can say that the south had all the rights in the world to secede. The south was protecting the economic foundations of her beautiful land. Northern abolitionist wanted the war to be about slavery in order to make the south look like the evil in the world, where as the war was about the south’s right to protect herself.
