Orbea Rise M20 first look. Best E-Mountain Bike?

Today we are going to take a gander at what I think is the best electric mountain bike currently on the market. I know I have done more than a few e-bikes lately and that is only because they all arrived at the same time😅

Thank you for supporting the channel and I will see everyone in the next video!!

  • Great vid! I have a Rail 7 which I love but I would like to try the Rise.

it is amazing how good looking e-bikes are these days, some models it's hard to spot they have motor and battery at all. hopefully, years will pass until I need one, or want one, since I like to pedal uphill on my own, and by that time, prices will go down. but still, it is nice to see stuff like this for people who are unable to pedal hard or just want to maximize their time on the bike, what ever. and that paint job is really cool. generally speaking, MyO program, or what ever the name is for option to customize the bikes, is great stuff from Orbea. those are not stock tires, right? buyer changed them?
  • That brake lever mix is an assembly cock up. I have the M20 and mine came with the same levers.

I like your review it indeed a great bike and one of a kind in the market right now. I would add that not having a motor display unit and only having the shimano en 100 its very minimalistic and add to the feel of just having a good ride and not riding an e-mtb.
  • Hey Mossie, this doesn't have anything to do with this video but i figured you may know the answer, I just watched a video stating that you can save weight by removing the centrifugal clutch weights from behind the Cassette, is this true? it came from a channel that in my opinion is pretty knowledgeable. Would their be any repercussions from doing this? Thanks

Nice video. What pisses me off is orbea quote 18.1kg for this bike. Where did the extra weight come from?
  • I know you said you have trouble saying whether a bike is a good value or not but this one’s easy. $67,000! You included an extra zero. Oops. Just busting chops I knew what it was supposed to say. I agree Orbea always knows how to make a bike look nice. Good video.

Nice bike. Great job on the review. Where is your bike shop in NC?
  • @wrathkeebs
hey I know this is a different topic with this video but do u think a 30.9 frame Seatpost size would fit a 30.8 Seatpost because 30.8mm Seatpost are the ones pretty common here in my country I can't see anyone sell 30.9. anyways killing the reviews as always!
  • @e.b.6802
What frame size does you test bike have? (i want to relate the weight to the actual size) Thanks!
  • @lg715
Hi, would you mind to measure the size of package box? I would like to buy one on internet and want to figure out will the box larger than the limitation I need the width×length×depth. Thx very much

Great job on the video! However, best ebike on the market...? Best for what?? I can't see anyone claiming best bike on the market, or even best mountain bike on the market? I understand the appeal for a super light e mountain bike. However, if I'm going to ride with a motor, give me lots of travel, big tires and as much torque as that 250w motor will give me. It's all about what you want to do with it... If you want to ride Enduro, or lots of black and double black features, or even just want to ride fast on trails with lots of chunder, there are way better options out there than the Rise.
