Russia's supreme court has rejected an appeal by a Kremlin critic against a 25-year prison term. Vladimir Kara-Murza was convicted on treason and other charges that critics say were politically motivated. After the death of Alexei Navalny, Kara-Murza has become Russia's most significant opposition figure.

How sad. All the best to Karamurza
  • I admire the fact that men like Mearsheimer and Ritter can speak out opposing views in America. Russia should be more confident in its people, but maybe it has reason not to be.
  • Edward Snowden exiled, 20 plus years Julian assange also 20 plus are examples of how governments are treating its citizens. It's not just about Russia.
